Auge Onyx

Auge - the apogee of the form. The celestial inspiration behind the conception of Auge table lamp echoes in the elliptical base carved from a block of solid - yet translucent - onyx. The base features its own independent light source, separate from the lampshade. As the light filters through the unique set of veins within each stone, it creates ever-changing patterns, making every piece one-of-a-kind. The lampshade completes the composition evoking the orbital trajectories of the eternal celestial bodies.
